MAPEX MARS DRUM SET WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED in Nanaimo, British Columbia

Selling this Mapex Mars drum set from the early 2000’s, before manufacture was moved to mainland China. The drums have birch shells and the distinctive tube lug hardware from this period. There are a few minor marks to the turquoise lacquer finish, but it still looks great. Drums are a 22” bass drum and 10”, 12” and 14” suspended toms. All these drums have new or nearly new pro heads (Evans and Aquarian). The snare drum is a 10 lug steel shell model which also has good heads. All the drums tune up well and sound great.

The set is completed with all the stands and pedals you see in the picture, including the drum stool. The cymbals are a Stagg Hand Made 20” ride, Sabian B8 14” hi hats and a vintage Super, Swiss made, 18” crash cymbal. This cymbal was made by Paiste and they currently have a niche collector value, but unfortunately a previous owner went berserk by installing 32 rivets! However, it does have a unique sound!
