If you are looking for something affordable, reliable, fun to drive, flexible, and extremely fuel efficient, then you have found your match. This is a great commuter car that has served us well in that role for years, but since our commute has shortened we no longer need the second car. The car is peppy, lightweight, and a joy to drive. There is also a surprising amount of space in the backseat and hatch, dropping the back seats provides as much hauling space as we've ever needed.
We are always impressed by the fuel economy she gives us, especially considering the price of gas recently. We would consistently get ~6 L/100km hwy, ~7.0 L/100km city. Meaning a 40L tank costs about $50 and gets you at least 600km, even more on roadtrips. When we moved from Victoria to Nanaimo, got 3 round trips on one tank!
Serviced regularly by Ron at Mid-Island Auto since we bought it new. If you are looking for a shop, we highly recommend them. Service records are available. Last major service included a rear brake job, replaced rotors and pads.
We just purchased a brand new set of Michelin X-Ice tires, mounted on separate rims. These are top of the line winter tires, and have only a couple thousand km's on them. They are a $750 value, and I will include them with the car for an additional $500, otherwise I am selling them separately.
