2004 Honda Accord_ Standard (Not Automatic)
291000 km. My parents owned the car before me and did a lot of cross country trips, so the majority of the km are hwy driven. Parents had the car serviced at Honda for all scheduled servicing. I purchase the car from them around 4 years ago and have taken good care of it (regular servicing etc) but have been harder on the interior with kids and our dog. It's a beige interior so it shows some dirt.
Has brand new all season Michelin tires (mud and snow) installed in November and a relatively new stereo (Aux input, etc). I have the old winter tires on a separate set of rims if you would like.
Got great gas mileage (super efficient to run), very spacious trunk. We're simply a growing family and need something that can accommodate more people.
Issues:
- abs brake light is on. We've had this check out by honda nanaimo/ brakes work fine but they said it needs the right wheel speed sensor open/ short ($145.00)
- Airbag light is on. Also check out by honda nanaimo/ said its the front passenger seat belt tensioner which is causing the light to come on.
- Windshield wipers. They work fine but are a bit loud. I put them by accident when it had a lot of snow on the windshield and I think it effected the windshield wiper motor.
- The check engine light is on but honda nanaimo, said there wasn't an issue and I'm going to try to bring it in to have them turn off the light. Sometimes the light will come on when the gas cap isn't secured properly.
