1965 Ford Galaxie Country Sedan in Nanaimo, British Columbia for sale

I just pulled a running 289 engine and C4 out of my 1965 Galaxie Country Sedan wagon. Engine is complete and includes new plugs, new Pertronix distributor, new fuel pump, starter and rebuilt 2-barrel carb. Drove it home to Island from Portland Swap Meet in 2012 and was driving the car daily until a few weeks ago. Even drove it to Langley Cruise-In in September 2013. That said, this is the car's original engine, it's tired and it should be torn down to inspect bearing wear, etc. As for C4..was working fine and grease pencil markings on pan seem to indicate it was serviced in 2002 but can't vouch for what was done to it. Should likely be gone through. I'm building a 351W to replace the 289 .
Two solid cores if you're looking for numbers correct engine and transmission for your 65 Ford project or just a good start for a cheap rebuild. Comes with Edelbrock 4-barrel intake.
