This is a very 'big' heavily-built fibreglass 14.5 ft flat-bottomed dory. The large volume and raised bow provide a great deal of capacity and freeboard, making it feel safe and capable in some pretty rough conditions - we've safely crossed open water in 25 knot winds. The square chines let it carve well and provide a lot of stability. Built in storage and air spaces make it practical and safe. Included are oars and oarlocks for close-in manoeuvring, nicely-made custom cushions for the front berth and rear seats, and a complete anchoring package with an anchor buddy. Would be a great micro-cruiser project. The 2000 30 HP 2-stroke Yamaha has been fully serviced and runs strong - it planes readily and drives the boat to over 30 kmh. The registered and insured trailer was recently rebuilt and rewired but the suspension is frozen and while it's completely usable as-is, should get some attention.
This unique design is ideally suited to inland water fishing and exploration - great for local and Gulf Island activities.
