home share with a senior in Nanaimo, British Columbia

Hi I am a senior with two bedroom 2 bathroom home in downtown Nanaimo, close to stores and bus. with a very large private back yard. I go to Mexico from mid October to April 1 so my tenant has the home to themselves. I rent (TO A WORKING FEMALE ONLY) a fully furnished bedroom (includes all linens and towels) with semi private bathroom in a house share situation. I charge $400.00 per month which doesn't include internet, cable or hydro. When I am home the tenant can use my internet and cable. When I am gone the tenant pays for their own. I share the hydro 70/30 when I am home and 30/70 when I am gone. I am easy going and very happy. There is absolutely NO SMOKING or DRUGS of any kind on my property.I do not have any pets. but a huge veggie garden. Usually my tenants stay for years, but this time I rented to a University student and she got a job in Victoria and is moving at the end of the month.
