1978 Yamaha XS1100 4 cylinder.
Beautiful condition bike with lots of work done to restore and bring it back to its prime. This is an excellent classic sport touring bike, for travel or mounting a sidecar. Looking for a classic you can insure with collector plates?? This bike is eligible for collector status which brings insurance costs down.
This engine was a very bullet proof design aimed at longevity. Cylinders and crank was very overbuilt designed for high mileage. First engine design that rotates in reverse and uses a vacuum ignition advance, this engine was ahead of its time and very reliable.
