Tuff City Powersports is now Nanaimo's STRIDER Balance Bike dealer. Strider builds balance bikes for little people in 3 different models and many different colors. The perfect bike for summer to teach your kids how to ride a bike without training wheels.
The Strider's lightweight design and low center of gravity make it easy to maneuver and control, giving your child a safe and secure feeling. And the bike's adjustable seat height starts at 11 inches from the ground, accommodating the shortest of legs. Control is further enhanced with a low and flat handlebar design. Kids can now reach forward rather than up, which gives them better leverage and maneuverability. And as the your child becomes more confident, the Strider's integrated foot rests provide a place for both feet while coasting along.
Strider has recently released a new line of bikes, the Classic, the Sport and the Pro. The Classic has a powder coated frame and sealed bearings (all three models do), but does not come with a tool-free quick-release handlebar and seat adjust and comes with the Mini Saddle. The Sport is essentially exactly the same as the ST-4, but also comes with the extended seat post (yeah!!!). The Pro has all the features of the Sport, but has with an aluminum frame, which is lighter and rust free and a number plate (shown below).
