New prawn / crab trap puller winch in Nanaimo, British Columbia for sale

Prawn Star Pullers/Crab Trap Pullers. "The Big Kahuna Puller" has been proudly built in Nanaimo since 2009, was designed by a local machinist/fabricator/hobbyist. Nothing measures up to the pulling power of this "Warrior", it uses a 2000lb Superwinch High Torque HD12V, 1 H.P. winch motor and with a 153:1 ratio planetary gear drive. The "Big Kahuna" has a 12" pinch pulley and an industrial UHMW long wearing plastic main hub. Made with 1 1/2" steel which is completely mig welded, then covered in a high quality power coating which adds to many years of complete rust proof durability. With white being the most common colour, other colours are available, match the colour of your boat. It can pull 4 prawn or 2 crab traps easily at a time, pulls 110ft. per minute based on a 2 recreational prawn trap haul back. Comes with a handheld up/down switch and with a removable boom it fits into smaller storage areas. "The Big Kahuna" Puller uses Scotty Downrigger #1023 single pin or a Scotty 4 thumb bolt deck plate mount #1036.
The last picture shows some options available, which include a floor, mounted 10g. wire on/off switch, battery alligator clips, winch mounted toggle switch, an antitheft pin keylock, available but not shown are, a 2 pin Scotty electrical plugs, Scotty deck mounts, vinyl winch cover, traps and line.
