Shiitake Mushroom Logs - Ready to Fruit
Alder logs fully colonized with shiitake mushroom mycelium and ready to produce their first flush of mushrooms this spring. With minimal care, this log will produce seasonally for several years.
Keep outdoors in a shady rainy location. During the dry summer months, soak log in bucket of cold water every two weeks (give or take) to keep log hydrated.
Half Logs:
~23inches long and 4-6 inch diameter with handle for hanging. Can easily be soaked in a five gallon bucket. Price ranges from $20-$30 depending on log diameter.
Full Logs:
3-4ft long logs from for $35-45 each depending on diameter.
