I built this canoe about 28 years ago with no nail holes. (Hot Glued the bead and cove strips together.) It is a pioneer style and has travelled on many bodies of water, twice on the Bowron Lake Chain with 3 kids in tow. It is very maneuverable and responsive in the water and was a Piece of furniture once. But life gets in the way and I neglected it for a few years. It needs some new fiberglass on the bottom and needs to be "re-resined". I was going to redo it (sanded off all the resin on the bottom) but I have so many other things that demand my time now ... so I am selling it "as is" and am looking for a person who will restore it. These is no dry rot in the wood but it will need fiberglass along the keel. (I have removed most of the fiberglass that needed to be redone.) I want $750 dollars and with some effort on your part and another 300 dollars or so it will be "sailing" again.
