Brand new 2013 models are available now and 2014s are pre-saling quickly. They have been upgraded with a double wide keel strip, reinforced transom, double layer of protection around seating area and thick patches on the underside of the tubes to help protect from any nasty abrasives that you may encounter. We use a .9mm PVC on the majority of the vessel to keep weights to a minimum, however we add a second layer of material vulnerable areas bringing the total to 1.8mm where needed. Through our research and development we have concluded that the thicker material on the entire boat was ineffective and overweight compared to what we are currently offering.
